iBook: Coaching Without Saying a Word, the Use Of Video and Reflective Learning.

I read this iBook about teaching or coaching with the technology of video. Students or coaches can video themselves doing a certain skill to be able to learn from, and improve the skill. Examples are, playing music, running, swimming, drawing, or anything that involves a certain skill and improvement if wanted.

The Main idea, is Using the technology of video to your advantage to improve your skill. It mentions an app called “Coaches Eye,” which allows you to freeze, pause, and slow down video to improve your skill.

This is much needed in teaching And can be introduced if acceptable. We, as future teachers, are required to see our selves teach in front of one another and reflect on it. This tool is quite handy in inproving your talent.

Teachers could use this, if the student is comfortable with it, to help the student improve. In a music class, teachers could show the student playing their instument and help them improve for competition.

This technology we have, is quite useful and helps educators and coaches improve their students.
